Fact: development cost for the people's car (Volks wagen) were raised by selling stamps (like s&h green stamps) to the commoner folks, and by selling stock shares to the less-common, more well-to-do folks. No one collected, and whether it was a huge amount of money, used to finance the buildup in the 30's, or only the disposable income of people who really shouldn't have been tempted (like powerball?) it was nevertheless a syphoning off of monies from people-under the ruse of the people's car. pfft! Sorry Jerry this is not some wierd revisionist crap, any more than your veneration of auto union is equivalent to a d-nial-of-the-holocost!
