My guess is that there are lots on this list that don't really have a passion for vintage bikes and hence the talk about politics and economics and just whose opinion is "worthy."

Anyway, the place to get a non-unica-nitor saddle for a late 60s Italian bike is eBay or guys like BC and the gang at RENAISSANCE CYCLES.

If the question is what saddle would be appropriate then the answer would be a butchered Brooks B.17, and the ultimate for said Italian bike would be an Ottusi modified Brooks (just my opinion).
