What makes me smile is the following quote from Fausto Pinarello:

"My father Giovanni came up with the idea back then; he took a regular Campagnolo Super Record chainset and then drilled out the crankarms."

Yet the arms on the crank that appears in the photo quite clearly bear the shorter flutes of a Campy factory triple (part #819).
