Hey Joe , I think you're correct .

But as usual , it makes me wince to think of fine old machines being broken down and stripped for their parts .

I think this very unique beauty should be preserved as , well , a wonderfully unique beauty . ( I said so in an off-list e-mail conversation with Tom Sanders , a few days ago ) What a SPECTACULAR MIXTE !! But , perhaps I'm living in a dream-world . Perhaps not everything is really a "museum piece" .
