My office has a daily contract pick-up from UPS. We are by no means considered a large volume shipper. I can ship a complete bicycle in a standard Trek, Specialised, REI, etc. carton and the maximum shipping charge will be $30 for continental US locations. Most times the rates are between $20-25.

Find a friend who works for a company that allows employees to ship personal items and you are in the club.
