Subject: [CR]Renewing some tubular rims ??

Well, 5 tubular rims arrived in the mail yesterday. Rim cost = $7 ($1.40 per rim). Shipping = $28. sheesh. Oh well, i guess san diego living has its tradeoffs.

Three of them appear to be double-eyeletted AVA rims, the ones that come with both a blue metallic "AVA" label, and a red label around one of the spokes.

has anyone reproduced the decals for this rim ??

The other two are fiamme double-eyeletted rims with the knight's head. They both appear to have been painted partially black at some point. The knight is barly visible on one, just a tassle on the other.

has anyone reproduced the decals for this rim ??

I guess I'll have the weigh the fiamme's to figure out which model they are. (is there another way ?? Otherwise i may be sneaking these rims into the grocery store and putting them on a banana scale ?!?!)

I'll need to do quite a bit of cleaning and some de-rusting of the ferrules. At first glance, though, these appear to be in good usable condition.
