I magazines, "editors" are often not really editors at all ... They're writers/contributors. I have no doubt that as "international editor", Liggett had absolutely nothing to do with putting together the magazine's layout, defining it's editorial policy, etc. He was a contributing writer.

Contributing writers write for other magazines all the time.

And I don't really feel that Cycling Plus is a "competing" magazine for Cycle Sport, as Cycling Plus's focus is not on European professional racing, anymore than Bicycling is a competitor to VeloNews ...

Cycling Plus (like Bicycling) is a general intereset cycling magazine.

ProCycling, on the other hand, is Cycle Sports main competitor.
