Thanks, Mike for the explanation about these two guys... I know Harry Hall quite well.. and had heard of Harry Hill too, but knew little about him.
Following on the Hill thread.. I have a 30/40s frame of some elegance in terms of design and workmanship, but in nedd of a respray. Having failed to get it identified through the V.C.C.. I'm wondering if you know whehter Harry Hill ever produced/had produced for him.. any frames bearing his name? The only suggestion received for my frame was that it could be a "HARRY H. HILL" After much research I now think it looks remarkably like Macleans of that period. Any connection there that you know about?
