i am fighting an off-list war with 5 or so listees that took offense to my a.m. post. as i have already noted, the 2 gentlemen named below are not the only post-ers that reply concisely - they are simply the 2 names that came to mind. i did NOT mean to imply that the other 898 are sending untrimmed replies. some of you have really taken all this personally - i was merely making an observation and dropped 2 names as an example to make my point. i wonder how many of the follow-up email-ers even read the a.m. post in which bruce was incorrectly attributed some text that he did not write - this was the catalyst for my "rant". regardless, and regardless of receiving double posts do to leaving names in the "cc" field, i still feel that it is common to receive mail with too much "old" info tagged onto the mailbottom. period. i used chuck and phil as examples of neatly trimmed replies to the posts of others. clearly they are not the only examples. e-RICHIE chester, ct
