Subject: [CR]Campy pedal axle markings.

Well, my apologies if that previous little quasi-philosphical post went on, and on. too much caffe, I 'spose.

Here's a very on topic, and fun little Campy query. (I did search the archives, but could not dig up anything. I LOVE that adage someone used about the helping hand is at the end of one's arm, btw)

I'm sorting my pedals. I have 7 pair of campy NR roads: 4 black. 3 chrome. One of the black is definitely ti, and I will be auctioning it ( I'm 91 kgs, I think it came on the red Cinelli but I dare not use it. )

So far, so good. All of the pedal axle markings are the same except for on one pair. This time ALL the info is on the wrench flats. All the others have the "brev. camp" on the round sections (2x) with 9/16 x 20 & the appropriate D or S on the wrench flats.

This one pair (black/steel axles) has the size and d/s together on one wrench flat, and brev camp on the opposing side.

This mean anything? Any ideas? How's that for an arcane query?

Thanks for any help,
