Subject: [CR]Crescents

I just purchased a well-used Crescent frame from list member Mark Agree in Michigan that I'm planning on building with either an old Suntour group or a first-generation Shimano 600 group I've got awaiting frames. I just missed buying a complete bike with an odd Campagnolo gruppo last year - presumably fairly entry level(?). My frame has Suntour drop outs in the rear and Campagnolo on the fork. Was this typical?

She's no beauty, but that's the beauty of it! (Love the orange with the taxi-cab checkers!) Hope I can acquire the taste for it.

.... I guess Cresent bikes are an "acquired" taste.
