My new gransport must have been parted out at one point, but the evildoer couldn't get the crankset off so that's the only original part. Then somebody with some good tasted parted it back up with the japanese equivalents of the original english components (SR Randonneur bars, for example.)

These wheels have "weyless hubs". I remember the adds from the 1970's. Amazingly light. Buy an ALAN frameset, jubilee gear system, OMAS titanium kit, and WEYLESS ALUMINUM HUBS. Lightest on earth !

Do these hubs break ?? Some of that 1970's aerospace technology was strictly test-pilot material ...

The wheels on this bike (BLUE vittoria 27x1 1/8 competition tires) are supersonic.
