I have made a tool similar to the Bicycle Research dent remover described by R. Bulis. I took two blocks of oak (roughly 3 X 4 inches) , put them one on top of each other then drilled a 1/4 inch hole in each corner so that they can be clamped together with 4 bolts and nuts(wingnuts and washers if you want to get fancy). I bolted the blocks together using the holes I had just drilled then turned the bolted together oak blocks on end and carefully drilled a hole the diameter of the top tube using a drill press end to end through the oak block. I did not have a bit the size of the top tube and honed the hole to the exact size using fine sandpaper glued to a dowel and chucked into the drill press. When you have finished honing the hole to the exact size of your top tube, take the blocks apart and follow the how-to-description description of R. Bulis. Good luck. Rodney Handsfield, Kansas.
