I think it's a better idea to just not email anything off list that you'd be embarrassed to see posted on the list. If you find yourself writing something like that, then delete before sending. Flaming off list is no better than on list in my opinion. Send me something like that and I'll share it with all the list members.

And keep in mind more than one CR listee has been banned because of their off list misbehavior.
