As a kid I was awestruck by the looks of shiny Airlite High Flange hubs on a track bike. Does anyone have information about those hubs and company that made them (BH)? As long as I'm on the subject, same question for Duralites (T.F. Blumfield) and Hardens.
I got my hands on some Airlites (40o rear + 20o front) and would like to build them into wheels. What kind of rims and spokes were typically found on wheels of their age. Any ideas where to find such rims today?
