Right about that time I bought a used Holdsworth Mistral from Bud's Bikes in Covina. That's when I fell in love with English tourers. What a gem. 531, Universal centerpulls, steel rear rack, 50/32 up front. I don't remember much more about it, except it was a lot easier to climb into the San Gabriel mountains on this thing than my previous set of wheels, a used track bike.
