Hi friends,

While on a brief trip to San Diego last week I had the pleasure of seeing Brian Baylis' and Craig Fenstermaker's new enterprise in San Diego County. I enjoyed checking out the facility, which is rapidly coalescing, with paint booth, really cool sandblasting machine, a room with frame making and truing equipment, and bunches of mechanical stuff I am nowhere close to understanding. There were several beautiful just-completed restorations that had both Al and me smiling broadly. Wow.

I couldn't help sneaking a peek at a whiteboard off to one side out in front reception area which attested to throughput marching along, with many jobs checked off as completed. VCS seems really organized, and I sure wouldn't hesitate to send work their way.

As you probably have already investigated, they can be found on the web at

All best wishes and congratulations to Brian and Craig!
