However, when I used it to unsub for a few days, nothing happened. I returned from vacation to a stuffed inbox.

Don't think it's working.

Please note new eMail Address - we'll be dropping RoadRunner July 1st Mark Stonich; BikeSmith Design & Fabrication LLC http://bikesmithdesign.com >>

To which Dale replied: Hmmmm.

Mark I cannot tell you what went wrong with your attempt to unsubscribe.. I did go to that page and notice that when you submitted that request to be dropped from the list, you should have received a confirmation message that you in turn had to respond to.. If you didn't get that, that would have been a clue... Also it mentions that you must have cookies enabled. That also could be a hang up for those trying to resign from the CR list..

Re: this last fellow, I went to the master list and could not find a listing of his " Jjtvwhitz@wmconnect.com" e-mail being a member... So I must assume he finally succeeded.

In general, many people, especially newbies to computers, seem to not follow the instructions and get frustrated. I am no computer wizard but I know I have to keep trying to learn the system to become effective.

Another note for everyone... You cannot "change" your e-mail address for receipt of the CR list. There is no provision for that. Instead, you join with the new address as if for the first time, then remove the original address.

Thanks Dale

Dale Brown List owner Greensboro, North Carolina classicrendezvous.com Dale and group: I'll bet the cookie issue has something to do with this. I update my Windows XP regularly (when Microsquish alerts me to do so), and recently, I've started having some problems on the Web that seem to be cookie-related. I can (erratically, sporadically, with no rhyme or reason to the pattern) get a "your system isn't currently accepting cookies" message or something like that, for no reason whatsoever. Kinda weird.... Greg "definitely no computer wiz neither, but I get by" Parker Dexter, Michigan bicycleclassics.com
