Hello fellow bicycle enthousiasts ,
My name is Gijs Roovers, I'm from Goirle, the Netherlands, 54 years of age and an active long distance cyclist. The rides I have done are Paris Brest Paris 3 x; of course Grand randonneur 4 times, did about 9 600 km rides and numerous times Liege Bastogne Liege etc. I hope to be healthy for a long time and to be able to continue cycling.
I have been interested in bicycles already for a long time, and have a little collection of derailleurs, the oldest one just before WW2, up to the 1980's. I recently acquired this Verdin randonneur bicycle, I intend to do a couple of 200km rides on it and if all goes well , perhaps also my next entry in Paris Brest Paris in 2007.

The frame is my size and the velo rides quite relaxed, a very nice riding postion and the handlebars are comfortable. I could not find any information on the internet , I would be glad with information about this producer and model and possibly find pictures for colour schemes etc.
