I disagree, maybe there are a few comments that are not absolutely necessary, but, on the whole, one of the important things about this list is being able to call upon the expert eyes of list-members when it comes to questions of uncertain identification of bikes, framesets, and parts on offer on eBay. I for one am glad when there is discussion about what is a Pog and what is not, what are the features which distinguish a Flying Scot, etc. I have a feeling that no-one on this list would like to see another member duped by a seller who misrepresents his wares. Remember, for many, eBay remains one of the few places where we are going to see or have potential access to many of these classics. I would like to have a really clear idea of what it is I might be considering spending my money on.

I agree that when it comes down to seller-bashing we may stray too far off-track. On the other hand, I welcome many of the discussions about eBay IDing - especially when they are relevant to my own interests - the rest of the time I just lean ever so gently on the delete key!!!!
