I too looked at these auctions at the time and was turned off for a number of reasons: The bikes were not my size. One too big and the other too small. The auctions had concealed bidders names. There is no need to conceal bidders names in virtually any bike-related auction. There was a $90 packing charge It was not clear if the $90 listed above was solely for packing or if this included the shipping charge too. The starting price was sufficiently high that you could not away with a deal to write home about.
As it turns out, you did indeed get a fair price and I would not be overly concerned if you pay by paypal using a credit card.. I would however verify the name against a listed address in a Dutch online telephone number and would give the vendor a phone call first.
