Campagnolo is definitely an alternative source and wow 0.5mm is very thin
The Sturmey Archer spacers are 1/16" (1.6mm) thick, extemely hard, flat
and they stack well.
I've used them successfully behind track cogs, freewheels and bottom
bracket fixed cups.
