Bikes are different from some other collectibles, I can ride a chrome Paramount everyday. Take the 1K$ Jerry spent on the Paramount into a bike shop and see what is available. Which would you rather ride and have around the the house to look at ? A Trek 1500 or the chrome Paramount ? Bikes are interesting in that the design hasn't changed much, what was a good ride in 1959 is still a good ride. To be mercenary, which do you think is better value for money,$3k for a Pegoretti or a Weigle ?
