OK. So I've gotten some terrific ideas, but I want to push the envelope. Let's go for the mix and match idea. I want to hear specific recommendations for specific individual non-Campy, non-Shimano items -- what is the most wonderful late 70s, early 80 rear derailleur? How about the brake calipers. Or the shift levers. Crankset? What about handlebars, or saddle-- or even seatpost! If money were no object, what individual pieces would you drool over?

I want to hear it all! Come-on folks! Lay it on me!
