i've purchased a bicycle (within the timeline, of course) from the uk. i'm paying 15 gbp to have it packed by a bike shop, which i'm happy about. a question though-
the guy told me that "i've heard it's cheaper if you arrange the shipping from the US yourself." i have no idea what that means . . . and neither have others i have asked.
so if you know what he's talking about, then fire away. alternatively, recommend your suggestion for the best way of doing this. i've been told that royal mail parcel post is the way to go, which is the cheapest but takes the longest.
sorry to all the old timers if this is a repeat question; searched the archives and couldn't find much.
