Brian et al,

I bought the Baylis from Gil Hatton last week. "Gibby the Bear" said it was his father's bicycle. I forget his father's name, he was a motorcycle racer, now unable to pedal. Along with the Baylis came a c.1960 Olympic team Paramount track tandem. Gibby is moving from PA back to SO CAL.

The price is attractive because the 105 components have some rust, being

stored in damp place near T-town velodrome for past few years. The frame

size was not right for Taliah, so I priced it to sell, rather than take time to work on it to fetch more.

I'm glad it was noticed on CR, before I could post about it, and to see what Brian has to say. I didn't know the unique paint and decals were "unauthorized." I'd like to know more about that, and if you know when it was built. The BB has +GF+, Geo Fischer shell, with serial number 037. Fork crown and blades are nice, slender and round.
