Subject: [CR]Colnago Decals and ID help

Yesterday I had an incredible stroke of luck. I stepped into a bike shop, in Haifa, and started gabbing with a young mechanic. He had an old rattle-can painted Colnago hanging in the back. It was part of the bike he road until he could afford something "better" (i.e. more modern). His boss wanted him to throw it out, as it was an eye-sore. He was happy to give it to someone who would ride it and refused my offers to pay. (Folks: add that to your list of reasons for visiting Israel).

Now I've got another bike project.

This frame is in excellent shape, no dents or dings or damage. Neither is there any sign of a serial number. Can anyone help date it?

The paint is awful. It'll have to be re-done. Are there catalog or brochure scans on the net that would help me with the color choices? Are Colnago decals available anywhere?

As always, thanks for the help.
