I don't know if it's still there, but Patio Bike Shop in Hales Corners was awesome "back then." We had a ton of racers and speedskaters in that area (the Heidens, Docters, Connie Carpenter & Davis Phinney IIRC, etc., etc.). Superweek was there - the Boul Mich Pro-Am in Chicago wasn't far away, Kenosha has a track, as well as Northbrook, IL, Madison, WI is not far away, and the list goes on and on..... Can you get to Madison while you're there? Yellow Jersey Bike Shop, Budget Bicycle Center (my alma mater), Cronometro, and others are there. Greg "even got my degree there" Parker Ann Arbor, Michigan

The girlfriend and I are going for a little weekend trip to milwaukee and I was wondering if there are any interesting bike shops to check out while I'm there. We are bringing some bikes as well so if there are any nice paths or trails that anyone knows of please let me know. A place with some vintage parts would be great. A friend mentioned the Hank Aaron trail, anyone ever ride it?
