I believe Colin uses the year date to prefix his serial #s... At least he did on my '75. You can ask the eBay seller the serial #, and maybe that will tell.

The decal set is completely different on my '75 Laing. I think the brazed on shifter bosses & style of top tube cable guides date it to late '70s, though you never know with Colin. He'll build you pretty much what you ask for even today.
