Recent inquiry about France-Loire (St.Etienne) bikes...well I am the dude who first inquired about these 10 speeders...and I've learned some about the outfit that made these swift machines. my 74 has the Simplex gears...light frame..gets long distance coasting on downhill grades...very sweet. St. Etienne brand ended in mid-80s. France-Loire added Mercier I believe to its name about that time...CR has more info
