Hi All:

Ttitusville is ~ 300 miles from Tallahassee on the Florida east coast, near Kennedy Space Center.

I've lived in Tallahassee since '65. Ten Speed Drive was a bicycle shop here and if memory serves it was also an importer. Ten Speed Drive Imports if I recall correctly. In the early '70s I still had a stingray and was only starting to become interested in 10 speeds. I remember lusting after a red Falcon that they had in their College Ave showroom. Seems like it was $125. I was more connected to motorcyclists though and went down that path for quite a while. The Falcon, and cycling, remained a dream for a long time. Too bad. I now see that with a little understanding of how to ride and where to use side streets that Tallahassee of the '60s and '70s would have been an interesting place to explore by bicycle.

Some of the TSD folks are still around Tally, though the shop is long gone. If you're looking for one of them you can email me and I'll see what I can do. I can still picture two of the shops like it was yesterday.
