Well, I guess if you find a 21 year-old bike in a more or less factory condition, and on top of that from Merckx, who enjoys great renown over here, and, top end this long sentence, the parts are chromed, this price seems reasonable. Evidently just to two people, but that is enough at an auction. Nice chromed freewheel, too. Looks like a new chain, though. The only part I don´t get is why the parts are mixed. I don´t believe Merckx brought it out like this, but then that only shows that the seller put a lot of effort into a new frame. More power to him. I wouldn´t mind a sale like that ...
