I have recently seen attempts to sell CR members bikes that do not exist. Sellers want payment via Western Union. Don't seem to be able to describe bike, have no immediate access to photos, etc. Claim to be in the UK or other western european country. (They could claim to be anywhere, really) They are fishing for potential "customers" via want ads or various clues from archives or web pages in the CR. My advice is to be extremely cautious, ask for pictures with unique views that would have to be made just for you (not stolen from an eBay auction), use PayPal, hesitate to deal outside the USA. Watch for clues like "Don't worry about shipping, I have an agent who will deliver the bike".
