Joel Looks familiar - http://bikesmithdesign.com/temp/HuretClamp.jpg The Huret internal thread was 5mm x 1.0mm. Probably same for Simplex though.

Your barrel looks a bit shorter than mine. But mine is fairly late, and IRRC earlier ones were shorter.
