I can tell you that in reality the coverage of vintage bicycles in Bicycling Magazine is still pathetic. You are far, far, far better off reading Hilary Stone's article in CyclingPlus! although Hilary spends 100% of his time on British Isle makes and it would be nice to hear something about Cinelli or a French builder once in a while (are you listening Hilary ?)

I was so terribly disappointed with the coverage of Alex Singer's bike shop last year in Bicycling Magazine that I went to Paris last March to take pictures of singer bikes myself. This is the first time a pathetic magazine article has spurred me to do the legwork myself :

Sadly, my french was not up to the task, however, thanx jan heine for helping to correct some of my typos.

P.S. well, there were other reasons to visit Paris, but the visit to Singer's shop made me feel that the trip was worthwhile.
