I just picked up some very interesting shoes. I wonder if anyone knows anything about them. Detto Pietro Art 70 Senior. They are size 42 but are really smaller than the other pairs of Dettos that I have that are 41. Very narrow soles too, narrower than anyone's feet. They have thick leather soles with big copper rivets which I guess go through a steel shank. Lots of large holes in the uppers. Track shoes intended to be stretched out? Anyone have an idea? Please reply off list as well as to the list, in case I miss the posting.
