They are. My wife bought the touring model around 1980, and I got the racing one in 1981. That one was actually a spare frame built for the 1980 US Olympic cycling team for the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, but was never sent there because of the boycott. When I bought it, it had been languishing in a corner in Isaac's office at Trek for over a year.

BTW, I think Isaac built these frames in Colorado after his sojourn in Mexico and before he started at Trek. He had picked up a contract with USCF to supply frames, and was still building a few of these he had commited to even after he started at Trek.
