I meant to send this to this list and not iBOB!

There are line drawings of two different Chossy saddlebags on pages 77 and 79 of R.J. Way's The Complete Cyclist from 1952. The first illustration shows a cylinder-shaped bag; the second, a bag that looks like it splits the difference between a Carradice and a Karrimor/Brooks shape. There's nothing in the text about them, though.

Just for laughs, I leafed through a copy of the CTC Gazette from September 1937. There were ads for Fabram, Camtors and Shawbury bags (the last sold through W.F. Holdsworth). The Camtors illustrated appears to have the under-saddle underslung wedge effect of the Karrimor saddles; the same for the Fabram Corona and Eros bags. The others, eh, who can tell from the drawings?
