With permission of the listowner, I ask a question on the application of C Record Delta (speed attenuators) brakes on Assos tubular rims?
The Assos tubular rims are quite narrow, much narrower than a conventional square type rim. Can spacers be used in between the brake blocks and brake arms to move them closer to the rim and still allow the brake to operate safely? (oxymoron?)
It's a mid 80's Masi 3V with early C Record and I would like to have the bike stop to avoid me becoming a hood ornament.
