Don; I got involved on a possible deal for a 1949 Hetchins Nulli Secundus which fell through, and was eventually purchased by another CR member. I knew the colour scheme etc, and eventually the frame surfaced in California. About a year or so later I saw jpgs of a red and black Nulli at Chuck's Velo in California, and with Chucks help found the owner. Turns out the frame was one in the same. I contacted the owner and eventually purchased the frame about a year later. The frame was the original prototype model of the Nulli that previewed in 1949 or 1950 at the London Show. I got an email from the guy last night at 8:15 saying that i could come by to pick it up that night. because of the elections and the fact that our TV broke down, i didn't respond to him until 9:00 this morning and no calls or emails got him - he sold it to someone else tonight.

What's the OT deal that ever got away from _you_ ???
