Attended VeloSwap, including framebuilder legends event. Posted some pics on Morgan's site, not my best work - blame it on poor lighting and a limited camera (user...).

The 1953 Hobbs Blue Riband was my find of the swap, a partial bike with some original bits, some newer bits. Resprayed sometime ago with some fittings likely added. Original owner was a Joe Ruby who raced this machine in the Olympic Trials in NCal in the 50's, placed 4th, just missing the team. Look at those pencil stays! Braze-ons for Mafac brakes - added or original?

Earlier thread inquired of max cog size for Camp. NR derailleur. See three shots of three different Wolf Alpine derailleurs. I picked up the Pat. 75 one to compliment my 75 Singer which was originally purchased via Cupertino and down-spec'd to a Shimano Crane GS.

My question; Does the Alpine modification allow shifting to a larger rear cog?

It doesn't seem so based on preliminary fiddling on the Singer with a 30t cog. I think it's only designed to wrap chain necessary for a wide-spaced triple front chainset.

Oh VeloSwap was much fun. Many CR Lister's there, including a nice contingent from SoCal (thanks for taking home some of my things). Bret Hortan brought some things to show, wow! Would love to see more of his collection.
