Ok, *this* is impressive. Is this one of those Brooks saddles with the narrow rails? Hard to tell. If so, the buyer will then need the usually-very-expensive and hard-to-find Campagnolo post for narrow-rail saddles. Total package, for post and saddle, could start to close in on a grand. Like I said...I'm impressed.

Even for the saddle alone, I'm impressed. Yeah, it's supposedly NOS, but *still*---jeez.

Charles and list: I would say this one is not the narrow-railed model for 2 reasons. (I have saddle and seatpost on nearly new Legnano from 1961.) Reason #1: the lateral bend in the saddle rails is not on the narrow built-for-Campy SP saddle here. Reason #2: the saddles for the seatpost were imprinted into the top leather with "Campagnolo model". So I think it's just an early NOS Brooks and not for the seatpost in question.
