I went to Braham's shop a few times in about 1960. I don't know what age he would have been then because I was at an age when anyone over 40 looked quite old, but I don't believe that his shop was around for very much after that, so he might have gone out of business or retired. Perhaps he liked round-bladed forks with double plate crowns because he sold me a chrome one for a road bike that needed a new fork.

I really don't know much more than that -- The actual shop area was quite small and I never saw what was to the rear of it; I don't know if he made frames himself or outsourced them; he always had a frame hanging in the window and I think the decal on the down tube just said Braham in capitals without initials, but that may be a false memory. I never saw many people in the shop and never knew anyone who rode one of his bikes. I don't remember seeing him advertise in any cycling mags.
