Tom; I partially agree with your side of it, but like
to keep originality if possible. But a decision has to
come at some point, that if the frame is detiorating
as in my Trio, when do you go for restoration. That's
an individual decision for the owner. But I've run
into a purist or two in the past who look disgusted
that any bike in barely rideable condition be
restored. If condition is so poor that the bike cannot
be appreciated, it's time for restoration.
Let the bricks fly our way.
