That is good news. As I said in my posting yesterday, most US road bike mags, including a couple of new ones, are absolute crap. Asphalt is a brave attempt to publish a serious US road bike magasine without the excessive commercialism and fixation on "lifestyle". I hope they succeed. For the last ten years, all the bike magazines I've subcribed to have been published in UK, except for the short-lived On the Wheel. It would be nice to see someone in US get it right again.

The good news is the magazine is alive and the new issue has been mailed out to subscribers and should be in our hands in early December. Ah yes, the season of miracles is upon us.

Last rites have been stayed.
