This should be a fun event. Mid-August in Traverse City Michigan. Put on, I guess, by Dennis of Fixed Gear Gallery. Despite what you might think, Traverse City can be quite pleasant in the summer. There is a 40 mile fixie ride around Lelanau peninsula, which is very pretty. http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/symposium2005/index.htm

Classic content: I may bring my newly restored 1948 Claud Butler Bilaminate fixie. FB double fixed hubs, Fiamme yellow label rims 32/40, Williams AB-77 crank with 151 adapter and Campy inch-pitch ring, Lyotard Berthets, Lycett Swallow, Reynolds Hiduminium TT bars and GB Spearpoint stem, GB Coureur brake, original "cordless" computer (vintage stopwatch on Terry clip).
