as some of you may remember, i'm feeling a little down from having recently sold several bikes, the latest being the 72/73/74 colnago super, and another, an 82 cinelli sc which has a few days still to go on ebay but will probably sell. i'm sober now, and i came up with an idea that will make me feel a lot better if it works out.
although i have/had a pretty nice collection by most standards, i've never had a masi, and i must confess to feeling like i am missing out on the whole masi-mojo thing. i want in! so of the remaining bikes i have earmarked for sale, i would instead like to trade one of them for a masi.
the bikes i have for trade are:
199X Bottechia Equipe (full bike with Campagnolo panto'd C Record gruppo - new frame, used gruppo) 56 c-c
1989 (?) Colnago Oval CX (full bike with panto'd SR, Kronos brakes, Assos rims, Colnago tubulars - new never ridden) 57 c-c
19XX Medici Pro-Strada (full bke with SR - originally came with full NR - near mint) 57 c-c
198X Casati Monza Gold Line (gold plating on frame/fork, SR with lots of panto including mexico-style crank, gold plated CLB brakes - new, never ridden) - 56 c-c
the masi i would like must be 56 or 57 c-c because i need to be able to ride it. i would prefer it to be italian, from the 70's, and with panto parts - hey, i just wanna be happy, is that too much to ask? i will consider california masis as well, even just a frameset.
so, can i have a masi anyone?
