It may be something I would never make use of (although the idea of building my own frame someday certainly appeals to me), but I would certainly be interested in this information. Unfortunately, both schedule and budget preclude any possibility of my attendance at this event.

I imagine that it wouldn't be sufficient to enable someone to just order supplies and tools and start making quality frames, but a DVD (or videotape) of the sessions is something that I would be interested in acquiring. I wouldn't want to undermine the incentive for others to attend, but I'll ask anyway - Are there any plans to make recordings of portions of the sessions available at some point in the future?

btw - the link posted - http://www.handmadebicycleshow.com doesn't seem to be working

My plans are to show how I go about modifying lugs and give some pointers on how to treat lugs once they're on the frame. I guess most of the "modern" builders have never known how to do it and many of the old dogs have forgotten how. Doubt if any old timers will change anything, but the young guns might find it interesting, or not!

As a Houston resident, I thought I had a pretty good idea what was going on in town in connection with vintage/handmade bicycles, but I had no idea anyone was planning anything like this. I don't remember anyone EVER staging anything like this in Houston, which frankly, isn't known as a very cycling-friendly city, even though we do have a velodrome.
