Hello Everyone,

I know that almost everyone probably knows about this but me, but was Brooks bought out by somebody, perhaps Selle Italia? Something told me that I heard that wafting through the air.

As I search through the usual people, it seems that almost all B-17 standards and Champions with steel rails are no longer available, and that titanium rails prevail, for what appears to be a price increase by a factor of 3X (about $190 or so.)

Does anyone know if Brooks steel rail Honey B-17 Standards/Narrows/Champions are still available? If not, will they be again?

And: gee whiz, does anyone using Brooks really care about weight savings? Well, I mean, do they? As for me, not really.

My apologies if this was a thread that I missed–but I sure hate to think that this change might be permanent...
