It's coming back to me now...the seller told me that the frame/fork/seatpost came from Stuyvesant and that he purchased the parts at Conrad's. I didn't recall at the time of the posting the name of the Colnago shop in NYC he had mentioned but Dale's post reminded me that is was in fact Conrad's. The fellow related how he wanted an unusual bike and that the owner from Stuyvesant called him up and said, "I found something in the basement for you."
